In this podcast, I want to share with you some of my tips and tricks that I have been putting into place, but also have helped hundreds of others wanting to be healthier and decrease risk for chronic illness helping them find the tips and strategies that work for them while living their busy lives. I will touch on eating better, being active, and getting rest. I will show you some simpler ways to put yourself back on the front burner so you can take care of you while raising your family. If this sounds like something that fits your needs, then you are in the right place. Hi, I am Joy Vincent of Joyful Wellbeing Mama. I am a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellbeing Coach, but with certifications in Women’s Wellness Education, Stress Management, and Sleep Science. I am a mama to 8, which I solo parented 7 of those while working after a high conflict divorce. I got tired of not taking care of me and was exhausted trying to do all the things. I had to learn how to pivot and find simpler ways to take care of me in regards to healthier habits while raising my family. I will show you how to create simple habits that stick for your health, fitness, and family.

Working towards being healthier can feel like a daunting task, especially when you are busy with kiddos and working from home. Ultimately, you want to enjoy spending time with your kids, but if you don’t have the energy, it isn’t so fun. 
It may feel like you never have time for those big hairy audacious goals that you have, but if you break those down into smaller bite sized pieces and stack those little wins up, before you know it you are farther than you thought.
Our brains are wired for rewards so getting even a small win can help you keep up with that momentum. 
How can you climb that mountain that you want to get to the top of? One step at a time. Choose 1 step that you can implement and be consistent with it. You may need to be flexible, but keep trying. You can get there.
Celebrate every little win you get because at the end of the day, you have worked hard to get where you are. Grow as you find new ways to accomplish where you are headed.

As a WAHM for close to 10 years, my journey has not taken a linear path when it comes to being health conscious and always making the best choices. There have been lots of speed bumps, side tracking, and hiccups along the way.
