Simple Routines for Work at Home Moms Are you tired of trying to figure out how to fit those healthier habits into your busy mama life? Do you run out of time to take care of you? 
 Are you looking for simpler ways or routines to make it all work and be less stressed over those healthier habits? In this podcast, I want to share with you some of my tips and tricks that I have been putting into place, but also have helped hundreds of others wanting to be healthier and decrease risk for chronic illness helping them find the tips and strategies that work for them while living their busy lives. I will touch on eating better, being active, and getting rest. I will show you some simpler ways to put yourself back on the front burner so you can take care of you while raising your family. If this sounds like something that fits your needs, then you are in the right place. Hi, I am Joy Vincent of Joyful Wellbeing Mama. I am a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellbeing Coach, but with certifications in Women’s Wellness Education, Stress Management, and Sleep Science. I am a mama to 8, which I solo parented 7 of those while working after a high conflict divorce. I got tired of not taking care of me and was exhausted trying to do all the things. I had to learn how to pivot and find simpler ways to take care of me in regards to healthier habits while raising my family. I will show you how to create simple habits that stick for your health, fitness, and family.

Working from home has it pros and cons.
If you get busy and need a snack, you might just grab whatever you can find without thinking about it. Eventually, you may wish you had chosen something different or not at all.
In today’s episode, I give you some quick tips for having snack at the reay for when you need them during your day or if you need to take them with you.
I know it can be easy just to go grab what is in the pantry or one of the snacks you have for the kids, but you may not want to eat that way.
Having snacks that you feel good about will allow you to stay on track with how you want to eat, but also allow you to take care of yourself.
Fruit and veggie trays or chopped fruit/veggies with some form of protein can keep you fueled until your next meal. But if they aren’t prepped, you will grab those goldfish, cookies, or a granola bar. Those items are ok if you want them to be, but you may want something else to enjoy.

Hey mama friend!
Schedules have changed, yet again. Your habits and routines go out the window because everyone else come first. 
In today’s episode, I give you some hacks to get that exercise back on track so you can give yourself some self care and self love. Just what you need to keep moving forward and be present for your family. 
Knowing what exercise you enjoy can help you make a plan. You also need to have an idea of how long you want to get your body moving, but you may need to shift your mindset on the amount of time unless you have help with kiddos.
Think about where it can and will fit in your day. How can you make it happen.
You are managing the family and working hard, so you may need to carve out some me time to get it in there.

Hey mama friend!
It’s dinnertime and you haven’t planned let alone thought about what you might have. Everyone is hangry and you gotta figure something out.
Today, I give you examples of how meal planning has looked for me over the years and what I currently do to get meals on the table. I don’t cook as much now since my older kids have varying schedules, but I do make sure we have the ingredients for them to cook, should they so choose. I do make a few meals each week, but my current system allows for flexibility and quick meals, if that is what I need.
Making list of favorite meals can help in a pinch so think about how you can set aside some time to list some favorite meals, but also think about the season. You might not want soup in the summer. Summer may be a very different routine, so you may need something quick to eat during those busy times.
You already have a lot you are trying to manage, so meals are not at the top of your list.

Hey mama friend!
Have you ever felt overwhelmed when you look on your phone at your calendar or your to do list? I know I sure have. The list never seems to end.
Today, I talk about building in some white space or downtime along with a few items you can do during that time to refill you so you come back ready to tackle the next things.
Looking at my calendar on my desktop makes it a little easier, but I still need to plan for breaks so I can give my brain and body a break.
You may need to schedule some time in your day intentionally so you have a pause in your day. You will thank yourself when you do.

School is out, but that doesn’t mean you have to give up on keeping your healthier habits in place. It means you may need to be a little more creative to fit in the exercise, the meals, and the self care that you typically do.
